Meet our support staff
Our support team ensures the service runs smoothly for both pet owners and referring veterinary surgeons.
Martha joined Highcroft in December 2014 as a laboratory technician to run our state-of-the-art blood sampling laboratory at our hospital in Whitchurch. With a special interest in cytology, the structure and function of cells and microbiology, looking at micro- organisms, she made the lab run like clock-work.
Martha has since been promoted to Hospital Manager of Highcroft Veterinary Hospital and Referral Centre, assisting our Hospital Director in the smooth running of the practice.
Outside of work, she loves horse riding and has two dogs - Olive, a Italian Spinone and Trevor, a French Pointer.
Angela joined Highcroft Veterinary Referrals in January 2016 as a Referrals Receptionist after working with the first opinion team for two years previously.
She works with our referral and specialist vets, booking appointments and looking after pet owners who are referred to us by their own vets for specialist advice and treatment.
Ali joined Highcroft Veterinary Referrals in August 2015 as a Referrals Receptionist. She works with our referral and specialist vets, booking appointments and looking after pet owners who are referred to us by their own vets for specialist advice and treatment. Ali is also a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and has a particular interest in Equine Physiotherapy. She has a Labrador x Collie called Frodo, a cat called Suki and 'waddle' of ducks.
Kaya joined Highcroft in October 2015 as a receptionist at our Midsomer Norton branch. In August 2016 she joined the Highcroft Referrals team as a receptionist. As a referrals receptionist Kaya helps with booking appointments, answering clients queries and looking after pet owners in reception.
Outside of work Kaya enjoys spending time with her horses, dog walking and running.
